About us

Budasensor Ltd. was founded in 1993 as a family business by Gyula Ébner, an electrical engineer, and his wife, a chemical engineer. The success of the company was based on the successful launch of the aircraft engine additives developed and manufactured by the company, and from 1994 to 98 by Hans Turck GmbH. The company was the representative of Turck in Hungary until 1998, when Gyula Ébner founded Turck Hungary Kft.

From the very beginning, Budasensor has come a long way, both in terms of its professionalism and its activities. The company's additive systems, tank farm monitoring systems, monitoring and SCADA systems are used by several strategically important organisations and companies (Hungarian Defence Forces, Budapest Waterworks, Paks Nuclear Power Plant).

After a successful generation change the company turned to industrial image processing. Since 2011, it has been a contracted systems integrator partner of Cognex, with whom it works closely in the implementation of vision systems. The company currently employs 25-30 people and has considerable experience in the field of industrial machine vision. Its quality control, process control applications and target machines are currently operating in 25 countries worldwide, on all continents except Australia.

Our ambition is to become an internationally recognised vision specialist and to provide solutions to the most complex vision challenges. To this end, we are constantly developing our experts and our vision lab. Our vision systems and target machines are primarily designed for multinational manufacturers.
